Wow. If I ever move through the chairs, I hope I can be as well-prepared as Bro. Drummond!

Makes your realize how much you can do for the craft.

I wish I had this when I was starting out. Unfortunately, I went fro J.W. to W.M. due to a small turnout at Lodge on a regular basis. I am doing a lot of what is in the document, and had been looking at it for NEXT year... We are doing OK, but I sure plan to give my S.W. a much better situation to walk into. He has been very helpful in getting things done. Our J.W. will be moving to the Sec. as he is a CPA, and stays on top of things real close (we have worked together for a while, and he is able to keep things in line there). Bro. LJ is looking at what we need to do, what we need to continue, and what needs to be changed. We are making a comeback, but it is slow, and sometimes very frustrating. It seems like as we make tow or three steps forward, someone or something pulls the rug from under us, and we fall. We have been able to get back up each time, but it gets pretty hard. This is why we need to make sure those who move up, have the true interest of the Lodge at heart. I have learned a LOT in the last two years, and am learning more. I know at times there just is not enough time to get things done, but with help, it is much easier. If we all dedicate ourselves to making out Lodge a good place, and to make ourselves better men, we can accomplish anything. Unfortunately, in many places there are those who sit back, and think someone else can make it work. Not always...
Thanks Blake...

People don't realize how much planning and time it takes to be Master of a Lodge. It's more then just showing up once a month and putting on a hat. It takes good planning and a good supporting cast of officers.

Sorry gentlemen, I don't see a link. But being in need of the information, I'm not too proud to ask. Somebody throw me a vine!

Go to Blake's first post. It says "SeniorWarden.pdf" and click on that. If that doesn't do it, let me know, and we'll try something else...
