  • If you are of a philosophical persuasion you will love the Scottish Rite. You will find no better place to get down to the routes and meanings of masonry. There is nothing in the Scottish Rite that should threaten your belief in your maker. Rather, it should make your relationship with your maker and your neighbor stronger still.

    Yes, I'd wait a year or two after becoming a master before joining any of the appendant bodies. There's much light to find in the Blue Lodge. Reading on your own will also help. Once you get into the Rite you should get involved. There is where your light will spring eternal.
