It's just a little something I was shown when I first joined. Now that I'm a bit older and (hopefully) wiser I'm not so convinced either.
For one, I don't see any aprons. :P
Several of our founding fathers were Freemasons, but it didn't have anything to do with world domination.

Just looking at their list of events seems like a more than adequate reason for asking them to remove the S&C.
Of course, they might be affiliated with some sort of clandestine lodge or something.
I know I probably come across as opinionated quite often...if I do then it's because I am. :P
But I know this already and I also believe a man can never be wise unless he knows that he knows nothing...so even though my opinions are strong I expect other people to take them with a grain of salt...
All the changes to push for new membership seem to either fail or lower standards. Einstein said insanity was doing the same thing over and over while hoping for different results. I'm inclined to agree. ;)
Pretty much. Just because brethren take obligations doesn't mean you can run the lodge like a dictatorship and expect positive results and turnout. I'd just like to be able to keep brethren motivated and engaged.

I've got a top hat ready for my installation this sat. It's a bit of a departure when more WMs wear cowboy hats, but our last WM wore a fedora and so I figured 'why not get a top hat?'
