    JW Reading the Law

My thoughts are the same as yours Brother. I still do not feel that a man has reached his maturity at 18. The large item that the pro 18s used was the fact that so many of our soldiers who are putting their lives on the line for the service of our country, were not 21. ( on that basis I agree...

    JW Reading the Law

My brother, you have a very valid point. I will say however, that the laws of the Grand Lodge, are very much like they were in 1977 when I first became a Master Mason. It is true that they have changed a bit along the way, but for the most part it was for the good of all. At least that is the...

    Masonic Law Question

I certainly don't take it to mean that we can not talk outside the lodge of our business. I believe that it means the WM will appoint all committies, and that we do not need the confusion in our lodge rooms of several groups or committies ( official and otherwise) busy talking on any given...

    Masonic Law Question

This is the way it is supposed to be my Brother, I think most brothers know this, and will definately abide by the sound of the gavel. I can honestly say that in my 30 plus years of being a Mason, I have only heard and seen the gavel used no more than three or four times

    JW Reading the Law

Brother Blake, If you have not received your copy, you can go downstairs to the book room at Grand Lodge, and ask for Brother Raywood, ( It is a small door in the hall where all the pictures of each lodge is posted) he will check the record to see if your lodge secretary has already requested...

    Masonic Day at TMRC

Brother Stewart is going to be at the Bounce House, but I do not know at what time. I have been advised that I am not going to be cooking a briskit, so I can show up any time.

    Dan Brown's Lost Symbol

Thank you for looking at the mad rush as something that might not necessarily be a good thing. It will just be more important for each WM to be cautious and careful in his selection of an investigating committee, and for them to do a very thurough job while serving on the investigating committies.

    Masonic Day at TMRC

It is for everyone. It is also a great place and time to bring someone who you think might make a good mason. All of the GL Officers should be there and it is simply put, a great family oriented day.

    Masonry and Felonies

Where does the 5 year clause come from. Is it in the constitution ? I know that you qualified your statement, or at least I think you did, by stating that that for present Mason, there is no recourse, he is out. I think you are trating a potential candidate in a diffrent manner. If this is...

    Masonic Day at TMRC

My brother, I would love to meet you and all of you for that matter. I may be one of the easiest to spot, as I am slick headed. I am supposed to cook briskit with the Arlington group, so come on over and say howdy.

Sounds like a good plan Brother. I am looking forward to reading the book and seeing the movie. I am hopeful that the recruiting tool part is going to be used by many.

"The Lost Symbol" and the Freemasons: 8 Myths Decoded

Nor am I my Brother, even though I have been teaching masonry for over 30 years! I think it is amazing at what a little bit (or possibly a whole lot) of fiction will do to spawn a renewed interest in a very old instuitution.

    Where are the Shriner's ?

The Blue Lodge - has all the best my brother, that is one of the things that has kept me going back week after week since 1976 when I was first iniated. I have had the pleasure of traveling and visiting lodges all over the US and Texas, and I always know that I am going to be surrounded by good...
