Are you doing an alt cert program? I am working on my cert through Texas Teachers.
Since I am going to do a Special Ed cert I have to also complete a content area certification in addition to Special Ed. That will likely be Language Arts.
I am just starting the Alternative Certification process to teach Special Education. Right out of high school that was my plan, but 25 years have gone by and I am just now getting around to it.
Any high school teachers on MoT?
I love the Kindle 2.
It is easy to tote around a few dozen books at a time. And the built in 3G wireless web surfing is a nice benefit, too. Though I do sometimes get in trouble playing on Facebook when I am sitting in church. :001_smile:

That photo (or one similar to it) appeared in Newsweek and stirred the pot real well. I saw later that the White House explained that the wearer of the ring is a man who works as Jr Press Secretary or some such.

In south Austin there is Onion Creek 220. Several meet downtown, Austin 12 and Hill City 456 meet at the Scottish Rite Theater. Parsons 222, T. Neal Porter 1354 and University 1190 all meet at the York Rite Building.
There are several lodges in the suburbs and outlying areas. Let us know...

And then one of my idiot friends would try to jump the cue ball over another ball and crack the screen...
It was very cool to see all of the Masons gathered together in the Capitol yesterday. The degree team did a good job and the experience is one I am sure the new Brother will never forget.
I wear mine occasionally. I wore it to the Alamo last December. To a funeral and to the Texas Capitol yesterday.
I store mine flat, but yesterday as I was leaving the degree, I rolled it up to keep from dragging the ties on the ground. One of my friends saw me rolling it and reminded me...
