    Advertising for Masonry?

I agree. Nixon Lodge recently shut their doors and turned the assets over to GLOT. I think they should have affiliated with Stockdale. I know Stockdale could have used the money Nixon received for selling their building. Now GLOT is richer and Stockdale is struggling.

    Small town Lodges

Blake, my Deacon at church is a 50 year Odd Fellow. I'm going to find out more about that organization. They seem to be pretty comparable to Masonry.

    Being raised

Brother Luke, it was nice meeting you in person today in Floresville. I knew I would run into you sooner or later. Just didn't think it would be in Floresville. We had an excellent MM Degree today thanks to the Sons of Hiram and Blue Lodge Degree teams from San Antonio. Because of the Shrine...

    Eastern Star

I joined after my wife. We are now in the West and will most likely be in the East next year. It is something we can do together. Last night Floresville 515 stated meeting lasted 30 min., wish OES could trim their meeting time! Oh well, like I said it is something we can do together.

    Challenges WM Face

The day after I was installed we had two deaths. Not a good way to start out the year. Then, the Brethren voted to move to another Lodge. We were renting. We had lots of fun searching for Lodges willing to rent and then agreeing which one to select. It was good. Glad it's over!

    Not Attending Lodge

A7V I hope you will continue to attend Lodge. Hopefully you can inject some new ideas into the Past Masters. It is hard to have a business meeting and make it intresting. Brother Jose always provided an intresting talk last year. Too bad he had to leave. You may want to pick up where he...

EA and FC at stated meetings

I have heard some WM say it is their option and they would only open in Masters. I think if EA or FC is present it should be opened to allow them to attend.

    Expulsion

I have heard of several cases where a suspended Mason came back and requested to be reinstated. We don't always know the circumstances and could possibly expel a worthy Brother. ----Just a thought.

    Funerals and Masonic Charges

One of the Ladies at GLOT commented to me that she wished the Masons would grow up and learn how to play together. Do you think this is what she was talking about?

The Working Tools of an E-Mason

Those of us who have Verizon service would love such advanced service. All they have available is dial up.

    Grand Lodge of Texas Codebook

I agree with Wingnut. An official book would put the committee on work out of business. We have managed pretty well all these years.
