On October 23-25, a Civil War Re-enactment of The Battle of Leatherwood will take place at Leatherwood, Kentucky. As part of the festivities, a Fellow Craft Degree will be conferred. My Lodge has been asked to help participate. It will be only the 2nd time in over 144 years that a Masonic Lodge will be opened at a Civil War site the State of Kentucky. Last year was the 1st time with an EA conferral at Leatherwood. Have you ever witnessed a degree being interrupted with cannon fire. (it was by accident, but the dramatic effect was awesome).
I am honored as well as excited to be able to take part this year.
