Guidance Needed

Brothers,

My name is Andrew Breault. My home lodge is Wichita Lodge #99. I began my journey when I turned 18 (only 3 years ago) and have never had the time to learn the degrees. I now have a solid schedule between school and work and am seeking to progress through the degrees, but more importantly get involved with a local lodge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest you contact the secretary or Master of your lodge and tell them that you would like to progress through the degrees. Let them know what your schedule limitations are and hopefully they can find a mentor to start working with you on your EA lesson and when you're able to return proficiency you should be able to proceed to Fellow Craft.

There may be limitations in your jurisdiction that require returning proficiency within a certain time limit from when you received your degree, or having to take the degree again. The Master or secretary should be able to provide what insight you'll need in order to become active again.

I would wager they will welcome you back with open arms - I know we're always happy to get an EA going and back on track with his degrees after becoming inactive.
