Hello everyone!

I'm really glad to be here. It looks like you've got a nice community set up.

So I'm not actually a freemason quite yet. Hope that's allowed haha.

I'm currently in Vermont, but I'm moving to the Harrisonburg/Charlottesville, VA area later this year. Is there anyone here who's from there? I'd love to learn more about my local lodges. I'll certainly try to join as soon as I can.

I live in Maryland and know a few Masons in northern Virginia but that won't be much help for you. So I'd suggest two resources (really three).

1. https://grandlodgeofvirginia.org to contact the Grand Lodge of Virginia AF&AM.

1a. https://www.mwphglva.org to contact the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Virginia F&AM.

2. https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheWindingStairs/ this is one of if not the most active Freemason Facebook groups in the world. A number of Virginia brothers are active and could help you out.

Well it's been about a year, but I made the move to Harrisonburg and I'm happy to say that I've been accepted at my local lodge and my initiation process has begun!
