A brother, from VT whom I met through playing sledge hockey, has loaned me his copy of The History of Freemasonry by Albert Mackey. 20190203_121630.jpg

You can pick it up online for <20 bucks.
Be advised that it is a rather “embellished” history, filled with all the false assumptions of the early Twentieth Century.

It is interesting, like almost all of his works. A bit embellished, like Brother JC points out. There are some decent reprints out there or just snag a PDF. Since it was published prior to 1922 it is in the public domain. Here's one: http://www.billheidrick.com/Orpd/Masonry/HisFreMas-1.pdf

You're welcome. You can find many of them on Amazon as well as direct from Forgotten Books. Since many of these classics are getting harder to find at a reasonable price it is a great option.

I just tested it. Works fine for me. Try just going to forgottenbooks.com and searching for Freemasonry.
