And that is why asking brothers questions like this is a bad idea.

    Grandmother is your GL
    Mother is your lodge
How old is your mother = the number of your lodge.

If any BROTHER PHA, FA, AFA has any concern or question if Prince Hall is not R.C and is considered Clandestine. I have plenty of enLIGHTenment of the history of Bro. Prince Hall and how it all started.

Ok.. I'll just throw this out there. Maybe its just me but a lot of, not all, PHA brothers seem very... pissed off or stand offish.
No one has to prove the who/what/where's in this forum. Nothing that serious ever happens here. We all were g tt ne at one point and that's what we should all represent.

How long have you been a E.A., and as a E.A., and they(PHMASONS)may be standoffish because you are E.A. Remember your oath and obligation what was instructed to you and the name you were given..There are over 300,000 PHA Masons world wide. Because you are a EA, that is probably why they are standoffish, you are not entitled to all the benefits and rites of MM.

    Peace and Blessing in future!

As an EA, you should not hold masonic intercourse with anyone you have not seen in your lodge.

I have to disagree with you there brother. EA or MM all should be treated with respect. There is never an appropriate time for a BROTHER to be standoffish to another. If I meet an EA and speak with him, then we are both EAs. We meet on the level. That is common masonic courtesy and makes certain that you are not talking over another brother or down to him.

I was referring to some of the post here. I don't approach masons that I don't know or ones that don't know me. If I did approach a fellow brother, as a non mason or an EA, I would hope he would treat me with the same respect I treat him with. If not it would turn me away from whatever they represent.

The PHA brothers that I've met called it the "blue house". Same thing as the blue lodge though. The real name to call "non-pha Freemasonry" would be "mainstream Freemasonry".

I personally consider PHA Masons to be mainstream also. My 2¢.

Some forum members seem confused thinking this forum can or should be tiled. It can not be for practical reasons. It should not be because of the steady stream of non-masons we get who ask how to become a Mason.

If you're confused about the tiled status that can lead to worrying about secrets being posted. What is and isn't secret varies jurisdiction to jurisdiction so the moderators actively check to a very conservative level. But if you've never learned what is and isn't secret for your jurisdiction it can be tempting to consider all that happens at any gathering secret.

There's also a tendency to think that the rules of your jurisdiction apply everywhere. After all we are taught that all brothers went through what we went through and that sounds a lot more literal than it is. The ritual is everywhere clearly recognizable but the details vary and the rules vary even more. Some exchange that is standard in one jurisdiction is unknown in another.

I tend to see it as confused not standoffish for that reason. It is very easy to tell a brother in a couple of minutes of conversation with no challenges at all. I've had brothers ask if those are my masonic plates and a few minutes later we're cracking jokes about Past Masters at our respective lodges without ever bothering with checking dues cards or saying one of the exchanges we learn.

I would say go back into your ritual and read your constitution and procedures under your MWPHGL of your jurisdiction. What is required of Masonic intercourse, go to your lodge and bring that to the master of your lodge. What I stated is common knowledge of what is expected of a EA. I'm speaking as a PHA MM. I don't know what a "Main stream" procedure 's or protocol are if I did it would be guessing. I'm going by my O.B. as established by the MWPHGL of PA. There is nothing wrong with a PHA mason or any Mason being weary of a EA and treating him accordingly. As I stated there are over 300,000 world wide. Bro. Bupton, you must obey whatever your jurisdictions follows concerning Masonic intercourse.
    Peace!
