Indeed it is, cool pictures! In my Council we wear purple sport coat, purple tie, white shirt and black slacks.

I've never seen anything other than black suits, purple ties and purple crowns.

I've only been a member for a couple of years so I've never seen anything other than what I described and we have no headgear.

I think the coloured sports coats are tacky and outdated. We look like a bunch of ‘60s realtors.

I’m not shy about my opinions of appendant body dress requirements.

I think many Masonic bodies fall into this trap, we require a dinner suit for lodge and the number of people with 600kg of lapel pins hanging from their jacket perplexes me..

Yeah, I find this a bit strange too. Two or three lapel pins are one thing. More than that is a little tacky looking IMHO.

Personally any more than one isn’t correct in my opinion, it’s great to be proud of your affiliations and travels but really..
If I wouldn’t wear it to any other black tie event than it dosnt belong at lodge but again that’s just my opinion on what is really an insignificant thing.

Suit lapel, 1 pin. Tux or tails? Zero. Lapel pins are not acceptable on formalwear.
