Just Installed as Junior Warden

On December 17 I was installed as Junior Warden of East Lansing Lodge # 480, F&AM (Lansing, MI). This year was big for me. I was raised in a new Lodge, joined the Research Lodge, received the 32°, was nominated, voted on, elected and now installed into my 1st office (a senior office at that). Knowing that my Brothers have that much faith in me pushes me even more to apply the teachings of Masonry to my life every day. 2017 will be a great year!!! Any advice is more than welcome.

Congratulations Brother

(Things work so differently there ! Here, you cannot take less that 12 months between initiation and MM, then another 12 months before you can be installed in any office other than Steward, which do not have a ceremonial role here... but well done on taking the opportunities offered to you)

That's how it should be. In my previous Lodge it was 3 months from petition to initiation, 5 months from EA to FC, and 7 months from FC to MM.

As far as officers the don't want non-PMs as Secretary or Treasurer, and they don't want new Brothers as Wardens. My past affiliation, and knowledge of Masonry, allowed me to be the exception to the rule.
