Hello Brothers,
Pleasure to find an outlet
To be able to bounce thoughts
Off of other brothers.

I was raised a month ago.
I have enjoyed the 3 degrees
Tremendously. I have participated
In a first degree already. great
Experience. And I will be
Getting involved with doing work
On another degree later this month.

They choose new officers tonight.
I got the roll of marshal. And I'm
Happy to even be thought of.. really.
Now i know it's not a big position.
Going forward after your a marshal.
What's usually next?

I don't want to seem foolish asking the guys from my lodge. Generally if anyone
Had an idea what could be next for me.
I'm curious to get your opinions ..

Thanks brothers

Hello and greetings from Rochester, Brother. I was actually E, P and R'd in Oklahoma. There are no MCs or Marshalls there so it's all a little new to me. I'd imagine the next step is either one of the MCs or the JS or SS maybe. As a matter of fact, if they are looking for someone who shows up regularly and has an enthusiasm for the fraternity, they may move you on over to the JD spot. If not, that's ok too, it just means your lodge is live, kicking and doing well. Best of luck, Brother!

Btw, if a Brother thought you were foolish for asking a question, they aren't worth their weight in salt....

Greetings and welcome - what is next is always working on your rough ashlar - I've been a member from 15 years and am still doing that... but when the time is right, taking an office is always a good way of advancing your masonic knowledge..
