  • Thank you for the welcome, I am looking forward to meeting some fellow brothers on here and making some life time contacts.
Thanks Brother, I may have figured it out. If my theory proves incorrect I will contact him. It seems to be a posting notification.
Being new to the site I have a question I hope you can answer. I have the app on my Iphone as well. Several times now a number has came up on the Iphone app link and I have not been able to firgure out what it is indicating. Do you happen to know.
I thought he was a member at Grand Prairie. I have lost touch with him over the past few years. His wife with worked for me and he was one of the Brothers that signed my petition. I may have his Lodge mixed up.
I think you may know someone very dear to me. Charles Vines, I think he is a member in GP
Hey, it's me Ben Waits. I turned in my petition and it should be brought up at this thursday's Stated Meeting. I assume they will assign an Investigation Committee at that point too.

These forums are pretty good. There is a lot of talk "in code" that I don't understand yet, but I know that I will someday :)
I understand the reasons for closing the discussion down. I do not necessarily agree with the decision. I hope that the situation with the biker's club, can be resolved to everyone's satisfaction. There is room for compromise.

I got into a hassle, when I started a breakfast discussion club in Kentucky. The only requirement for membership, was an interest in Masonry. Masonic membership was NOT required. Nevertheless, the Grand Lodge went all ballistic, and tried to shut us down.

This situation is like that. It is all about control .I am sure that the GM in Texas really does not care, if a bunch of masons want to ride their bikes on weekends. There has got to be some solution to this hassle.

    SMIB!
    Bro. Stewart,
You are right it tends to become "beating a dead horse" I get eenough of that at work. After reading the post here and else were, I think it time Grand Lodge and the Widow Sons to talk. Hoppfully cooler heads will pervail in all this. If your ever in Gatesville, we meet on the second Monday. Eat at 630pm and stated at 730pm.
    Take care
    Allen
    Bro. Stewart,
Thank you for your reply. I do not agree that no discussion is better than having one. At first when I saw this site I thought great a place for Mason to host chats and exchange ideals and let the free flow of information happen between Brothers who are so far away. I see I was wrong. Nothing can be accomplished if we are not allowed to express, talk, share, and explain our views. With the free flow of information we can only make us better Masons.
    Fraternally
