So, for those of us who live in places where Christmas is celebrated...
Did you speak to Brothers on Christmas Day ? Get or make a call ? Get or receive and email or sms ?
I was smiling with my partner, I took a few calls from Christmas Day from Brethren, the first call was from a Muslim, the second from a Hindu
People often complain lodges are not as fraternal as some distant imagined past, or in time and places where your brothers lived in the same small town a street or two together... but I'm always working hard to try to create that feeling of friendship in my lodges... Yesterday I just sat down for two hours and called as many brethren as I could... the great irony of this is I set out to do this, kinda as "giving" and always get "paid back" (my wages) in amplified returns, it's why my partner and I had one of the best New Years ever.. .at a brothers.. it's why I get invites to joyous weddings, christenings, dinners, birthdays and alike..
All up, I spoke to 5 brothers on Christmas Day, it was me reaching out to the first, but the others called me (and not in the middle of dinner either)..
Did you call brethren...will you next Christmas or maybe just the next time you have an idle 10 minutes (like walking the dog or to the shops) ???? its so easy and it helps make the fraternal part of Freemasonry what it should be..
Do you even have the name and number of every brother in your phone ?
