He may can be of help. If not simply visit lodges on your own and you will find one that is a good fit. Good luck and keep us posted. Thanks for the info, I have one friend who is a mason and trying to help me join but he lives in another state.
Mr. Reeves,Thanks for the info, I have one friend who is a mason and trying to help me join but he lives in another state.
I'm interested in becoming a mason and serving my community, how do I join?
I talked with a few guys that I know are Masons, and they are going to guide me through the process.
This is exactly the way Im going through. You have to ask. In most jurisdictions a member can not ask you to join, you have to ask him. Do you know any friends or relatives who are Freemasons? If so ask for a petition. If you don't know any Masons then check the yellow pages in the phone book or use the internet to find lodges in your area. Find out what time that they have their meetings. Most lodges have a get together over a small meal about an hour before the meeting. You can visit a few to see which one you may like to join. You can then visit with them regularly before the meeting to get to know them and let them get to know you. If all goes well after awhile you will sign a petition and you will be on your way. Good luck.
This is exactly the way Im going through.
It will be our second time we meet but I am already thinking much further - so excited - feeling like a little boy. Greetings from UK
