The part about mentoring young Freemasons really hit home. I'm not young in age but I am a "young" Freemason having been raised two years ago this month. I have been very fortunate in that many "old" Freemasons have gone out of their way to teach me the things that I need to know.
I have heard something similar in one lodge. An old PM says to the new WM "That's not the way that we have always done it." The reply? "I'm setting a precedent.""That's not how we did it in my year!"
Boom...well as long as its a good precedent...lolI have heard something similar in one lodge. An old PM says to the new WM "That's not the way that we have always done it." The reply? "I'm setting a precedent."
