    Masonic Law Question No. 2

I am of the opinion that it is not illegal, so long as you are certain that the voice on the other end of the line is known to you. I have searched the Constitution and have not found a reference to it. On another note, I am curious. Brother Sonny, where do you find it to be stated that where...

    Masonic Law Question No. 2

I have another question for all of you dealing with Masonic Law. I was just asked this question by phone, and thought it would be good for this discussion The question is: Is it unlawful to ask or answer ritualistic questions over the telephone? Let me know what you think.

    Masonic Law Question

The punishment that can be handed out, is the brother who is being disruptive can be asked to leave the lodge room. This in itself should be enough to convince a true brother that he has acted out of line and he should be embarrased by this fact. We are after all supposed to be brothers, and a...

    Galveston Reunion

My Brother, Your question is indeed a hard one to answer, and one that is potentialy loaded with an opportunity to make a complete fool of myself. I will however make this attempt: I believe that each Valley has developed its own system of holding what they each believe to be the best...

    Degree Teams???

We do not have an official team to confer degrees, but like one brother stated above. Most of the time the same people always show up for practices and for degrees, so usually it is the same groups conferring the degrees. As for the prompting that takes place in some lodges, each time a...

    masonic funerals

I perform most of the Masonic Burial Services at League City, but I do have a couple of younger brothers working on learning the Service.I do agree with Brother JEbling, the services are extremely hard to conduct, but it is an obligation we owe to our brothers. The family is usually very...

    Morals and Dogma

The copy in the picture truly looks to be in fine shape. After you read it, I would reccommend reading "Morals and Dogma for the 21st Century" You can find it at Stone Guild Publishing.com

I have seen the Star in the East

Me too, I'm a member. It is fun to go to a chapter and observe. Most of the chapters I have attended, do good work with their ritual. They do get long winded on introductions and discussions on occasion, but the meetings are generally fun and you get to spend it with beautiful ladies.

Does Grand Lodge Law Help or Hurt Individual Lodges?

Change! Did I hear CHANGE ? Seriously guys- who makes the changes at Grand Lodge? How many of your Past Masters and Three Principal Officers attended the last communication of the Grand Lodge of Texas? Masons Taking Over the World?

I have often answered the question by saying I must have missed my share as I am still just a poor feller. On a serious note, I believe the world would be a little better place than it is right now if Masons were running the show, at least in theory.

    Wearing of Past Master Aprons

Hello Brother, I would invite you to wear your PM Apron any time you feel like it. It is yours, you earned it. I would add however that most lodges do have PM aprons that are cloth for normal ever day use. I have always kept my dress apron in the automobile, and worn it only for special...

What Kind of Mason are you?

I am a ritualist , but My choice is that I am a Mason at heart ! I have a hard time beleiving that any of us would be very good masons without having it in our heart first and foremost.

Does Grand Lodge Law Help or Hurt Individual Lodges?

I believe that Grand Lodge is definately good for all of our lodges across this great state. Without it there would be no consistency in what we do. If there was no Grand Lodge , our Lodges would all soon go their own seperate ways, and in a short time NOTHING would be recognizable as Masonic...
